About Deb

Debra Croghan, a Usui Reiki Master, studied under the tutelage of Usui Reiki Master Imara and is in direct lineage to Usui Sensei through Takata Sensei. Deb’s study of Reiki began in January 2002. She began her work with injured raptors in 2004. Her qualifications include more than 1650 hours of direct training and apprenticeship with Imara and more than 200 hours of direct Reiki work with raptors, culminating in the achievement of her Reiki Master’s status in early 2007.

A former computer programmer/systems analyst and a mother of two grown children, Deb’s spiritual journey took flight when she was introduced to Reiki. The birds have been inextricably entwined from the beginning and have characterized her personal Master’s apprenticeship.

Deb’s meticulous attention to detail and purest intentions throughout her study of Reiki and Master’s Apprenticeship, not only reflect her integrity, but contribute to her power and effectiveness when practicing Reiki. I am honored to have been chosen as her Reiki Sensei and know any creature (two-legged, winged or otherwise), is lucky to receive Reiki through her.” - Imara

Deb is available to consult with Raptor Centers and Rescue Organizations regarding the use and benefits of Reiki for their injured animals. You may contact her through deb@raptorreiki.com
