Raptor Rescue with Reiki
Teaching Me How to Fly

This website is designed to share what I have learned Reiki’ing injured and stressed raptors. The benefits are multi-faceted. The beauty of Reiki is that there are no negative effects. It goes where it is needed to the level it is needed (physical, mental, emotional, etheric, and spiritual). Sometimes the greatest benefit to the bird is physical, other times it is emotional. You do not need to assess or diagnose what the raptor, or any animal needs. You simply allow the Reiki to flow through you to the injured animal.

It is my hope that you will use this information to further aid these beautiful creatures. If you have been practicing Reiki on humans or yourself with little experience on animals, may the information shared here give you the confidence to better use your learned Reiki techniques on these magnificent beings. If you have not yet studied Reiki, perhaps it is no accident that this information has come into your hands and it may spark an interest in learning to use Reiki. For still others, it may answer questions about any Reiki seen or heard of being practiced on animals, and calm any concerns you may have.

The information contained herein is designed to prepare you to make Reiki available to injured and traumatized raptors. It will answer questions about how to best prepare the birds to receive Reiki. It will give the caregivers at raptor rehabilitation facilities information about what Reiki is, and what it is not. While written specifically for raptors,4 X Owl the methods described can be used with any wild or domestic creatures with little modification.
